Calculators

Three calculations - payroll deductions, VAT and depreciation. No sign-up, nothing is sent to a server: everything runs in your browser.

The rates come from ERPONA's own table, so the site and the system never show two different numbers.

01

Payroll calculator

Works out take-home pay and the employer's full cost from a gross salary: income tax, social insurance, unemployment insurance and compulsory medical insurance.

⚠ These are starter rates and must be confirmed with an accountant. Deductions in Azerbaijan change from time to time, and the concessionary regime for the non-oil private sector has its own end date. This is not legal advice.

02

VAT calculator

Adds VAT to an amount or extracts it from a VAT-inclusive amount. The rate is 18% and can be changed.

⚠ Reduced, zero-rated and exempt supplies are not taken into account - the calculator works with a single rate.

03

Depreciation calculator

Two calculations side by side: accounting depreciation (straight-line, the one that goes into cost) and tax depreciation (declining balance). They differ - that is not a mistake.

⚠ The tax percentages are the upper limits from article 114 of the Tax Code. The actual rate is chosen by the company and confirmed with an accountant. The accounting method is a policy choice - here straight-line is used.

In the system

A calculator gives a number; the system gives the journal entry

Inside ERPONA these three calculations are not done by hand: the payslip, the VAT return schedule and the depreciation plan post to the ledger themselves.

Payroll

Monthly run

One run for all employees and one journal entry. The rate table lives in the database - when the law changes the accountant edits it, and past periods keep their old rates.

VAT

Return structure

The VAT return schedule, the deposit account and e-invoice preparation - all tied to the local chart of accounts.

Fixed assets

Depreciation plan

The plan is built automatically and posts to the ledger. Tax depreciation is calculated separately - in the return, not in the ledger.
