What it does

Inventory - in the base package

Balances are kept per location: warehouse, shop floor, shop, consignment. Every movement is a document and can be traced back.

Valuation is perpetual: when goods arrive the inventory account grows, when they are sold it moves to cost of sales. Lot and serial numbers show which goods went where.
