Shops
Shop sales, a heat map, the loyalty card and a signal to production - the whole chain in one section.
When shop figures arrive late
In a shop chain sales data is usually collected at the end of the day, sometimes at the end of the week. Until then, which product is moving is only the salesperson's guess.
For a company that also manufactures this is a double loss: what runs out in the shop is not planned in time on the floor.
From the till to production
The shops section shows sales by day and by product, and the heat map shows which hour and which shop is strong.
A position that is running out is passed to production as a signal - so planning feeds on what the shop actually sold, not on a monthly report.
The loyalty card collects points, and the value of a point, its expiry and the discount ceiling are set on the company card. The maximum discount a salesperson and a manager may give is capped separately.

The company sets the ceilings: one for a salesperson, another for a manager. A discount above the ceiling cannot be given.
